Army v. Navy!
A Royal Rugby Experience

My friend Nigel invited me to join him & his family for a day out to Twickenham stadium to watch a friendly rugby match between the British Army & Navy. The pregame festivities started with social beer drinking. While drinking my pint of Guinness, I was surrounded by fanatics dressed in all sorts of festive clothing. One group was in conehead attire wearing "lord of the cones" t-shirts and one man was in superman drag. Another group of guys, who I suppose were the unsuccessful streakers, wore only England flags around their body. The game experience was awesome, people were rowdy and crazily unreserved. Army dominated the first half, Navy came back within 5 points in the second half. The game was close, but Army took home the bragging rights. This game was an introduction to an English rugby match and prepared me for the big 'clash of the titans' on May 26th England vs. the Barbarians here at Twickenham.
