The
Japanese girls in our flat prepared a delicious teaser for our culturally
diverse group of friends. Rie, Chifuyu, and Mari made Makisushi, Okonomiyaki,
Yakisoba, Karaage, Tofu salad, and Korroke. They started preparing
the dishes around 4 p.m. and finished around 8:30 p.m., a whole four
tiring hours. These dishes were unbelievably great and very inexpensive.
Rie was lecturing me on her recipes so I too can enjoy great tasting
Japanese food. Everyone respectfully appreciated the Japanese food
and displayed their enthusiasm in celebrating the values of a different
culture. |
