"Boy
Gets Girl" is a story in which illustrates the emotional &
social problems women experience when becoming stalked. The main character
lost every sense of security from a lunatic man whom she was set up
with for a bad dinner date with by a friend. The story was quite shocking,
and as most feminist plays strive for, it made men look like shit'.
I enjoyed it particularly because its an American staged performance
in London. So, the actors were English using American accents and
stressed certain cultural stereotypes. This made the play far more
interesting and was a self cultural learning experience. |
