Genoa, Italy

Sleepwalking Through Genoa
The first day was quite interesting.

Why do travelers start a long trip without sleep? I never get the concept.

We arrived safely, avoiding all the skyscrapers of Genoa by a few inches. The city is a small ocean industrial city with scenic ocean ports.
We walked through the Thursday market and immediately got the best impression of Italy's finest foods and delicatessens. We bought some wine and then traditionally went into the church. It was big and nice. Genoa was really interesting and hearing nothing about it made it even better.

Ryanair lands in Genoa at 10 and Sarah is excited little does she know the guy behind her has her bag.
After getting robbed and completely stripped of our leftovers from Ryanair's endless buffet, we decided to eat.
The Palazzo Real looks nicer from the outside when you don't want to go inside.
Lively senior citizens thrive around Italy, it must be the olive oil. These particular guys played traditional
Italian music with cool instruments at the market.

Marco stirs the batter as Rubella digs for the secret ingredients that go inside these delicious pastries in the market. Salami and vino rosso,
traditionally a great snack!
