"Sex, Drugs, and Ibiza"
From Foam Parties to Sex Parties to After Parties to Freak Parties to Beach Parties and back again...it just never stops in Ibiza

From Valencia, Daniel, Armando, Jorge, and I jumped onto a Transmediterannea Ferry from hell. It was 3 hours of a women on my right spilling her guts all over the inside and an unbelievable headache worth sleeping on. You honestly could not stand up or else you would go cross-eyed from the dizziness and probably also spread barfing showers onto the rest of the passengers.

I loved Ibiza! I got onto the island hating it and left loving it. And now I want to go back. I think its because I got taken care of pretty well and had more than what I expected. All my clubbing was covered thanks to my friend Tom (a savings of €200); and I was in company of Tom, Daniel, Armando, and Jorge. We enjoyed our fully equipped apartmento at Sol y Sonar in San Antonio. I also met really fun people working on the island who took care of me making it a memorable time.

San Antoni in my opinion is nothing what I pictured Ibiza. Its more or less little England, with its embarrassing football jersey wearin', pub wanderin', loud and obnoxious screamin', herds of drunken' loud and annoying kids. Not what I imagined. I soon discovered that Playa de en Bossa is the nicer place to stay if you are keen on clubbing as all daytime/afterhour bars and clubs such as PinUp, BoraBora, and Space are located there. You'll get onto the island thinking you will never make it to these places, but believe me you will.

Although San Antoni has its high-school dance, striving spring break in Cancun atmosphere, the port and its surrounding vicinity is amazingly beautiful. From San Antonio, its just minutes by boat to the more remote playa's and the renown beauty of the island. In "San An" there are two main clubs Es Paradis, which is acclaimed to be the most beautiful in Ibiza and Eden which is home to "SchoolDisco.com" a Britney themed ripoff similar to a fraternity party, and other English people only parties.

Aside from hectic atmosphere of San Antoni is the location of breathtaking cafe's for sunsets situated on the water such as Cafe Del Mar, Savannah, and Mambo. Here you can sit near the rocks while sipping on a cocktail, while enjoying the evening watching the sun set. Or, Daniel could tell you the other way of enjoying it. I had spent a unforgettable evening by myself on Friday watching the sunset in Ibiza, an uplifting experience that I highly recommend.

Now for the Clubs!

Our fun started on Thursday night when I had met up with Tom, whom was pr'ing and dancing for Privilege, the largest club in the world. As I was planning on meeting up Daniel, Armando, and Jorge at Amnesia for a session of Paul Van Dyke and DJ Tiesto, I held back for awhile not really wanting to pay particularly because im not so keen on the Creme scene and those DJ's. Instead I enjoyed a free mellow night out to "Your Day" at Privilege dancing to old rocking hip hop from the 80's and witnessing CeCe Peniston perform "Finally" and other hits.

While in Privilege I was also surveying the size of this massive club and walking around the inside and outside. The club is humongous and houses a capacity of 10,000 people! The roof is high and the dance area has stages like stairs that keep on going. Only on a Monday night for Manumission does it ever fulfill its size. Apparently I heard they cram sometimes 12,000 people into this Mecca and its so slammed that walking around is difficult, people are shoulder to shoulder in awe over the amazing shows.

Privilege in my opinion is a clubbing circus with the most outrageous, random, and funky studio 54 image. They have an unbelievable company of energetic dancers, acrobats, live sexual acts, fire throwers and just about anything from aliens to monsters. Some of the outfits the dancers wear would have Lil Kim, Prince, and Marilyn Manson fancying. One dancer had it going on' and I could get my eyes off her rhythm. Still cant get over how she dances. But of coarse the most famous dancer is the one who sucks his own penis.

The inside of Privilege isn't the most glam with its random interior decorating. To agree with many, I would say the club isn't that pretty as Pacha, Amnesia, El Divino, or Es Paradis. But nothing compares to its size and the powerfully huge pump it produces on the Monday night freakfest Manumission. Privilege is something everyone who lands on Ibiza should atleast see, its worlds largest club.

On Friday we were at Pacha's "Ministry in Ibiza" party which was surprisingly impressive. The genre was more of a deep-dark and funky house with loads of tracks I've never heard. Coming from London and knowing how terribly touristy and commercialized Ministry Of Sound is, made me for once actually appreciate what the group was all about. They had a nice party in Ibiza, playing complete underground subliminals and music that was pumping Pacha, especially in the last hour.

Pacha is one of the few clubs open year round and is the oldest club on the island celebrating its 36th year in Ibiza. It houses around eight thousand and was rammed for its Friday Ministry party. Everynight its apparently packed and worth checking out. The deco is a pueblo like feel with three but probably more side rooms playing different music. There is a terrace to chill out and watch the night turn into day. A bit pretentious is the crowd, only because they venue calls for the fashionable, classy, and stylish clubber. The VIP section sits a level above the dancefloor protected by a rope overlooking the club. Pacha houses some fun parties like "Scandal" and has guest appearances by Danny Tenaglia and other famous DJ's.

On Saturday night, I stayed in and waiting for Space & Trade the next day. Armando, Jorge, and Daniel checked out "Zenith" at Amnesia and were also guestlisted for "Balearic People's" at Privilege. They a great time at both places, especially Privilege thanks to my friend Tom.

Sunday morning I got up, packed my bags, and headed to Playa de en Bossa with Daniel, Armando, and Jorge. I was staying two more days in Ibiza and the rest were leaving tonight so I was relocated to Tom's apartment. As Daniel and his cousins dropped me off and flew off to Space in the taxi, Tom and I took our time to get in.

Today Vivid presented "We Love Sundays at Space" an Saturday night after-hours, a Sunday daytime preparty, and Sunday night with more than 24 hours in operation. Space is known for its terrace pumping funky deep tunes and playing hard, deep, and dark rhythm's inside. As Daniel, Armando and Jorge were leaving, people were ramming Space in anticipation of Sasha at midnight. Other DJ's such as Sander Kleinenberg, Rui Da Silva, Junkie XL, Smokin Jo, and Lord G amongst the residents had their guest appearance aswell.

After Space on Sunday night, a taste of circuit premiered in Ibiza with Salvation, Cockring, and Trade presenting the launch of "Kinky Trade" at Amnesia. A live performance of "Underground" by Celeda, Flava & Zoids from Los Angeles accompanied DJ Gonzalo and DJ Paulo. The party was fierce with its go-go boys dressed in kinky fetish clothing and flying naked acrobatics from the ceiling. It was a launch party so it wasn't as slammed as La Troya on a Wednesday but still a fun time.

Amnesia's interior is well designed and beautiful, it has a touch of the tropics out on the terrace where the party was held. Inside the club its a bit darker and more club-like with a stage and cocktail mezzanine. Inside, foam and camp hits were spilling onto the dancefloor and Tom and I had a fun time in the foam. One of my favorite nights in Ibiza.

After "Kinky Trade" Tom and I got a ride from another Tom, a nice Australian guy from New York who drove us back into town in our soaking clothes. If it wasn't for him we would've probably been sick like the people sitting at the bus stop when we went passing by with a little wave, now it was my chance to do it. After Amnesia, New York Tom took Ibiza Tom back home and we had gone for some early morning coffee in Ibiza Town before my unplanned continuance in DC10. At the cafe, the drag queen from "Kinky Trade" whom I had taken the pictures with, was taking the early morning piss out of Whitney with "its not right, but its okay....... whoooaoh!".. a fun laugh. From the cafe we went to "Good Morning" presented by Circoloco at DC10.

DC10 is the most defining club of what Ibiza is all about, its where the locals and the workers of the clubs club. Its a daytime danceparty aswell as after-hours for Space and the people who've been out on Sunday and noticeably been out all weekend. People don't stop on Ibiza, they keep on going. I like DC10 and the vibe it has, its like a little private party for all the cool people who know each other on the island. Its hard to explain what makes DC10 provide clarity about Ibiza, but if you've made it there for its Monday morning party then you would understand.

Outside DC10, the planes hover close to landing and threaten another crash onto the venue which "DC10" found its origins. Inside DC10 it has a dark after-hours room which closes at noon and the terrace where everyone is starting 10am. Inside I met up with Javi from Space and his friends Barbi, Higino, Victor, and Venessa all locals of Ibiza. They took me in and welcomed me to DC10 introducing me to all their friends. A good time.

From DC10, BoraBora, the afterparty for everyparty was taking off into another height as the planes flying over landed on the ground. Bora Bora is magnificent, its a free beachfront bar turned danceparty. The beautiful people laying out on BoraBora adjoin the fun and scream everytime a plane flies while dancing to deep funky tunes. This is what Ibiza is all about, amazing random dance parties. People dancing all over the tables, in the sand, and enjoying life.

I was sad to fly back to BCN Tuesday morning and almost changed my ticket, but I was definitely broke. I wanted to stay for a couple more days. Next time in Ibiza I want to definitely be at LaTroya, go to PinUp, witness Manumission, see ElDivino, check out Anfora, and relax for once on the beautiful secluded playa's. But 'relaxing' will probably never happen cause in Ibiza the partying never stops....
