Roaming Around Rome
The eternal city with colossal landmarks.
By this last leg of the trip, I was absolutely tired of seeing the touristy & traditional sites of museums, art galleries, churches, etc. I wasn’t the only, as many other travelers just wanted to feel the city than run around with maps and books not really taking anything in. I managed to make my own guided walking tour to the more important destinations of Rome, but really seeing it once was good enough for me. I enjoyed Rome’s nightlife, shopping, and landmarks and must make another visit in the summer.
While I was going out to the nightclubs and bars, I met some nice Italianos that took me around the city and showed me the sites. While we were driving, we got pulled over by La Polizia where I handed over my passport. It was kinda scary because the police were not kind. Thankfully, everything was fine and we had our fun that night.
Rome’s night life was okay, I was not thoroughly impressed. I expected some real energy but I realized that Milan is probably the better place to be for a club scene. However I did have the opportunity to go around to a bunch of different places while I was there. I even met a few preists that wanted to take me home…. hehe.
Rome was a great place to go shopping. I bought my new Sisely sun glasses so I could do my runway struts on every street. Also, the presence of Gucci and Prada amongst the other Italian designers was better to see than another mueseum. It was such a stunning place to shop and I was really mad I forgot my sugar daddy’s credit card at home.

M&J Place Hostel Rome Italy was a really fun place to stay while in Rome. Even though it was a hostel, my experience felt very homely. I met some really nice people here that all got together to cook an Italian dinner. The front desk folks were very helpful and informative. If you’re looking to stay on the cheap and meet really fun people, I highly recommend staying at M&J Place Hostel Rome Italy.

Welcome to my site and I hope you enjoy it. When I first travelled to Europe while I was in college I really had the time of my life seeing the many different types of cultures. The flavors of the food, the welcome of the people, the love shared across the world was so much greater than living in the United States ...
